Welcome to the Joel Schoon-Tanis Gallery. We invite you to explore Joel’s original artwork and prints and, if something catches your eye, add it to your own collection! This virtual gallery includes new work by Joel in one “room” as well as past work and reproductions in another “room.” 

Joel’s work strives to view the world through a child-like lens—full of color, whimsy, and honesty. Often, it juxtaposes kid-like drawings with more realistic images. Other work has a storybook feel, more uniform in approach but still borrowing from a whimsical, even child-like view. All of the work is meant to make you both smile and think.
